This week Dr. M and I'd hoped that we'd be able to meet with Dr. A and start the statistical analysis but he was out. Instead we worked a bit more on the abstract and introduction. Dr. A also helped me start my final presentation and sent along some CT scans of patients that have pancreatitis and explained to me how to look at them. This is a person that has pancreatitis as well as an extremely enlarged liver due to alcohol abuse. The fuzzy grey is the inflammation and fluid surrounding the pancreas. This is a healthy pancreas. It's bumpy and there's no inflammation or fluid. You can also see that the liver is a lot smaller.

The images add a lot to your writing. Keep that up. I suggest that you include some arrows (or something) in the future to point out exactly what you are referring to, so your readers can follow along!
